Bio
Dust of Us is a new project from Sydney-based brothers, Ed & Lloyd Prescott. Blending elements of indie-pop with folk and electronic music; their songs explore themes of nostalgia, memory, time and regret.
The two multi-instrumentalists have just released their first two singles – 'The Swans' and '7 Years' – both of which were co-produced and mixed by Matt Neighbour (The Avalanches, Courtney Barnett, Sky Ferreira).
For second single '7 Years', the pair teamed up with London-based singer Jess Chalker. After premiering on FBi with Lachlan Wyllie, ‘7 Years’ has been spun on triple j via Richard Kingsmill’s 2019 and Home & Hosed with Declan Byrne, as well as Double J Mornings with Zan Rowe. It's also been playlisted on Apple Music's 'Best of the Week’, Spotify's 'Broad Chords' and triple j Unearthed radio.
With a debut EP and more collaborations in the works, this is a project well worth keeping an eye on.
