Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird finish 2nd album, book final 2018 show

Cousin Tony’s have had a huge 2018, with the release of their first album, Electric Brown earlier in the year, and a sold out debut Australian tour toped off the growing love the band is enjoying from an eager and enthusiastic fan base. 

For the past 6 months Chief "Cousin", songwriter and frontman, Lachlan Rose, has bunkered down to write and record the band's sophomore album, (we can reveal it’s to be called New Romancer) and wow – is it something special! 

We cant wait to share the new record with you next year. The first taste will be the song ‘Love is Heartbreak’ to be released in mid January. 

Recorded in LA with longtime friend and producer Matthew Neighbour, ‘Love is Heartbreak’ will mark the beginning of a whole new chapter for Cousin Tony’s. 

In 2019 you can expect to see them touring at home again performing the new songs (and old faves) , adding more festival appearances, and also it’s likely they will be touring internationally too. 

But before the next chapter starts, the band will be closing 2018 with a huge blow out gig this Friday 14th Dec at their spiritual home - the famous Evelyn Hotel in Fitzroy. Get along if you can!
