Francesca Gonzales has released a thought-provoking video for her funk-pop banger 'Dumb Boy'. Premiered by Wickedd Childd, the clip questions how we interact with each other – particularly strangers – through technology.

'Dumb Boy' is a reflection of Francesca's experience in navigating the physical and digital worlds of relationships. Francesca and producer, Genevieve O’shea, rallied a cast of women to bring their own unique skills, energies and dance moves to fill the clip with an authentic expression of self.

"Dating apps sell an image of the user, a very superficial act,” says Francesca, “when people usually fall for your raw identity – including all your imperfections.”

The track is Gonzales' first collaboration with man-of-the-moment producer/co-writer Dave Hammer (Thundamentals, Ro, Jeffe), elevating her already clever pop hooks to another level. It’s the first taste of her debut album, due later this year.
