“Georgia’s songs will ruin your dance party, but they will enhance your life. She sings with the courageous honesty of a true artist.”

The always captivating and enigmatic Sydney artist Georgia Mulligan has just announced a run of dates in support of her upcoming debut album, Nothing Wrong (which lands Nov 3rd).

The shows include Sydney, Melbourne and Wollongong with more TBA. She’s also just unveiled another song from the record; the opening cut ‘Disintegrate’. Like most of the rest of the album, it was produced, mixed and engineered by Blain Cunneen; celebrated for his work with Midnight Oil and Julia Jacklin.

“When I first approached Blain, Disintegrate was the song we started with,” she explains. “It’s about falling in love and falling apart and resisting all the way. It’s funny how a song can arrive and show you how vulnerable you really are, especially when you’re trying to cover it up. It started as a '90s-teenage-film-soundtrack-demo and now it’s crisp and big and bold and just as teenaged.”

The song also features acclaimed singer/songwriter Dominic Breen on 12-string guitar. Another highlight from a remarkable album which is shaping up to be one of the year's finest local releases, ‘Disintegrate’ is hooky, direct and like all her material – completely honest and open.

Mulligan’s recent singles have been featured on key DSP playlists such as Fresh Finds, Local Noise and Indie Arrivals on Spotify, as well as The Sound and New in Alternative on Apple Music; while also receiving support from the likes of Double J, 2SER, Syn and FBi.
