Francesca Gonzales releases Baby Give It Up video + announces EP

Pilerats has just premiered the brand new video for ‘Baby Give It Up’ from Melbourne’s rising neo-soul sensation Francesca Gonzales. Take a look here.

The song’s inventive production, powerhouse vocal performance and important anti sexual harassment message have been turning heads since its release.

Inspired by old grainy VHS aerobics videos, Francesca’s intention was for the video to reflect the dark lyrical tone and evoke a dingy club (the image she had in her head when writing the track).

Today, Francesca announced her forthcoming self-titled EP, which will arrive on May 18 and feature both ‘Baby Give It Up’ plus popular previous single ‘Better Person’. On the same date, she will launch the EP at the Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne, with interstate tour dates TBA.
